How does ProspectHalo discover and score prospects?

Learn how ProspectHalo finds suitable leads and uses the Intent score to contact the strongest opportunities first.

Written by Umer Arif

ProspectHalo searches for people who match the ideal customer you saved on the agent.

How someone becomes a lead

  1. The agent searches LinkedIn using your target roles, industries, locations, and other choices.

  2. ProspectHalo checks the person and their company.

  3. It removes duplicates and anyone who does not meet your required rules.

  4. People who pass these checks are added to Leads.

This is why the number of people found during a search can be higher than the number of leads added.

What the Intent score means

The Intent score helps the agent decide who should be contacted first. A higher score means the person is a strong customer fit and has more useful signs of interest or timing.

Signals can include replies, LinkedIn activity, engagement, a recent job change, hiring activity, or other events you selected.

A signal improves priority, but it cannot make someone a lead if they do not match your required targeting.

Why LinkedIn plans affect results

Standard LinkedIn and Premium both work with ProspectHalo. Sales Navigator provides more search filters, so it can make some searches more precise. ProspectHalo still checks important details after the search when a filter is not available on the connected account.
