Connect LinkedIn and email accounts

Connect sending accounts, read their current status, and know when to reconnect.

Written by Umer Arif

Open Accounts to connect the LinkedIn profiles and email mailboxes your agents can use.

Connect LinkedIn

  1. Select Connect LinkedIn and read the connection notes.

  2. Continue to the connection window and sign in to the personal LinkedIn profile you want to use. Complete any verification there.

  3. Return to Accounts and confirm that the intended profile appears.

Prospect discovery and LinkedIn outreach use a personal profile, not a company page. If company-page publishing is available, select an eligible managed page separately when creating Content posts.

If you normally sign in to LinkedIn with Google or Apple, the connection notes link to LinkedIn’s password settings. Never send your password, verification code, recovery code, or session cookie to support.

Connect email

  1. Select Connect Email.

  2. Choose the mailbox provider offered in the connection window, such as Gmail, Outlook, or IMAP.

  3. Complete sign-in and return to Accounts to check the mailbox and status.

Email is optional for LinkedIn-only outreach. Before sending cold email, review the domain authentication and mailbox preparation checklist shown in the connection dialog. A connected mailbox is not a guarantee of inbox delivery.

Read the account status

Accounts page showing status badges and separate LinkedIn invitation and message usage.
  • Connected means the connection is available. Health may not yet have enough recent sending activity to evaluate.

  • Finishing setup means a new LinkedIn connection is still becoming ready for search. The page advises that this can take up to 10 minutes. You do not need to reconnect.

  • Checking means health has not yet been confirmed.

  • Healthy means the account’s current health check is healthy.

  • Safety pause means activity is paused. Read the displayed reason and timing.

  • Needs attention means you should review the displayed issue.

  • Needs reconnect means the connection needs authentication again. Use Reconnect.

Understand the limits

Limits belong to each connected account and are shared by all agents using it. LinkedIn invitations and proactive messages have separate counters. Daily allowances use the last 24 hours. Weekly invitation limits, warm-up, sending windows, approvals, and available leads can reduce actual sending.

Use the current values and explanations on Accounts rather than assuming every account has the same daily allowance. Adding another agent does not add capacity to an account.

If connection fails

Read the exact error before retrying. If the provider asks you to wait, avoid repeated attempts. If LinkedIn shows a restriction or security warning, follow its instructions. Contact support with the error and approximate time if you cannot continue.
