A sequence template is a saved workflow you can use again. It includes the steps, messages, timing and paths that you can adapt for an agent.
To reuse just one message or its AI writing instructions, use Settings > Message templates. Choose Use template inside a sequence message editor, or Saved replies in Inbox for Exact message templates that match the channel and message type.
These copy one message into your draft. The sequence templates in this guide copy the complete workflow.
Choose a built-in template
Open your agent, choose Sequence, then Open workflow builder. When creating an agent, the workflow is in Channels & accounts.
Choose Templates. On a smaller screen, open More sequence tools and choose Sequence templates.
Select a template to review it, then choose Use this template.
Edit the wording, timing and paths. Choose Save to apply the workflow to an existing agent. For a new agent, choose Done and finish setup.
Review the workflow before choosing Use this template. Sample data shown.
Use this template replaces your current draft. Use Undo to return to the previous flow. Applying a template to the draft does not update or start the agent until you save it.
Choose a structure that fits your audience
ProspectHalo default uses the standard workflow for the agent’s channels.
LinkedIn with email fallback starts on LinkedIn and includes an email path.
Personal connection includes a connection request, an acceptance check and three LinkedIn messages.
Reconnect with your network checks whether the person is already connected before continuing with LinkedIn messages.
Value before a meeting finds and checks an email address before a three-email sequence.
Longer buying cycle finds and checks an email address before six emails spaced further apart.
All six choices are visible. A locked card shows the channel it requires and cannot be applied to an incompatible agent. The timing is a plan. It does not guarantee when messages will send or how many replies you will get.
Save your own workflow
Connect the steps and finish the workflow you want to reuse.
Open Templates and choose Save current workflow, or use More sequence tools > Save as a template.
Enter a name and an optional description, then choose Save template.
The copy includes message wording and guidance, subjects, formatting, timing, connections and attached media. Saving a template uses no credits and does not change or launch the current agent.
Reuse or remove a saved template
Open Templates > My templates.
Select a saved workflow and choose Use this template.
Review the copy, then save it to the agent. For a new agent, choose Done and finish setup.
Saved templates belong to your workspace. A template stays locked if the agent does not have the channels it needs. Using or editing a copy does not change other agents already using it.
To delete a saved template, open the card’s options menu, choose Remove template and confirm. Existing agent workflows stay unchanged. A workspace can keep up to 50 saved templates. Built-in templates do not count toward this limit.
Changing an existing agent’s channels is different
The Agent channels area in the template gallery offers Switch to multichannel or Switch to LinkedIn only when available. Connect the required healthy accounts first. Email outreach also requires an email sender identity.
Confirming a channel switch updates the agent immediately and replaces its sequence with the standard workflow for those channels. Already-contacted leads keep their progress and are not sent another connection request. Switching to LinkedIn only leaves the email account connected for other agents.
Pause an active agent before a substantial workflow or channel change. Review its sequence and approvals before resuming.
